Addition of 24.1

Change to scheduled races for J24 and Etchells, who will now start separately.

24.1 Change to scheduled races for J24/Etchells: Scheduled J24/Etchells warning signals will now be 5 minutes after Division 2 warning signal. this will be a combined J24 and Etchells warning signal.

Revision of 16.1

Boats failing to finish within the time limit shall be scored TLE. This is changed from DNF.

16.1. The time limit for all boats will be 4 hours unless otherwise indicated. The time limit may be extended by 1 hour, at the discretion of the Race Officer, in order to attempt to finish the majority of the fleet. This will be notified to by all boats by VHF radio on the channel for the day. No flag shall be displayed. This communication will be made between the third and fourth hour after the start time. Failure to hear this transmission will not be grounds for redress. This changes rule 62. Where two races are programmed on the same day, the time limit shall be two hours for each race. Boats failing to finish within the time limit shall be scored TLE. This changes RRS A4.2 and RRS 35.

Addition of 2.3

2.3. All boats shall log on before departure and log off on arrival with Coast Guard Adelaide on VHF 80. This applies to both the Destination Race on Saturday 9th July 2016 and the Return Race on Sunday 10th July 2016.

2.2. In addition to section 2.1 boats shall sign on at the Nomination Desk at least 1 hour prior to the warning signal. Up to 30 minutes before the start sign on by phone to the CYCSA Racing Manager will be accepted.
